Visual Content: We may take photos or videos during our journeys. These images may feature you and are used to document the experience for the group and for our community’s marketing (e.g., website and social media). We will always respect your request if you prefer not to be featured.

Communications: Records of our emails, messages, and feedback.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and cookies used to improve our website performance.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process your application and verify trip availability.
  • Facilitate Logistics: Provide you with “Base” location details and suggested coordination links.
  • Community Building: Add you to our private WhatsApp group for trip coordination.
  • Marketing & Storytelling: Use photos and videos to share the Pletoura experience with our wider community.
  • Safety: Respond to health incidents or coordinate with emergency services if needed.
  • Improve our Website and Services: We use feedback and technical data to refine our itineraries, improve user experience, and grow the Pletoura community.

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to your trip or our Services.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

  • Local Facilitators: Relevant details (e.g., name or dietary needs) may be shared with local homestay hosts or activity leads strictly to deliver your experience.
  • The Group Chat: By joining the private WhatsApp group, your phone number and profile name will be visible to other trip participants.
  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party tools for payment processing or IT support.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by Singapore law or to protect the safety of our travellers.

Children’s Privacy

Our journeys and Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor without verifiable parental or guardian consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our records.
